Thomson Extra Rigid Support Rail Assembly
Extra-rigid shaft support rails (XSR) are designed specifically for use with our extra-rigid Series XR Ball Bushing bearings. XSR support rails are available in nominal 23 inch lengths and are made of ductile iron and powder epoxy coated to provide the most deflection-resistant shaft support of all Thomson supports. To facilitate quick and easy installation, each extra-rigid shaft support is drilled and counter-bored for securing a drilled and tapped shaft into it and for bolting it to a flat, rigid base. For supporting long shafts, XSR support rails can be mounted end-to-end.
