SynqNet motion control networks provide a 100Mbps synchronous real-time connection between motion controllers and torque drives, stepper drives, and I/O modules.


ZMP-SynqNet controllers are an ultra-performance SynqNet® motion controller that provides machine builders with the ultimate in high-performance motion control. The 64-bit ZMP controller utilizes the Motorola MPC8245 PowerPC processor for optimum flexibility and speed. With a significant increase in processing power, the ZMP family of controllers are optimized to work with MechaWare™ for the ultimate in precision control schemes for FPD manufacturing.

SynqNet is the only high-speed digital motion control network that offers fault tolerance, real-time node data collection, firmware downloads, wide servo vendor support, and requires no network programming.

  • The ZMP-SynqNet controllers offer servo update rates up to 24kHz, allowing optimum control of machines requiring high levels of coordination and synchronization between axes.
  • The ZMP controller family is compatible with the Motion Programming Interface (MPI). And code developed for XMP-SynqNet series controllers is compatible with all ZMP-SynqNet controllers.

 

 

 

REDUCED CABLING
A single CAT5 cable connects controller to drive (up to 100M between nodes) and all I/O. SynqNet drastically reduces wiring costs and more importantly the time spent implementing and troubleshooting conventional analog cable runs on increasingly large equipment .
