MechaWare™ Advanced Algorithm Development
MechaWare™ is an all new software library 'plug-in' package for use with Matlab/Simulink®. Developing powerful control loops and controlling complex mechanical systems in software is now accomplished easily and in less time than ever before.
Pre-defined control 'blocks' can be used to quickly develop sophisticated control schemes from PID with feed forwards to complex vibration cancellation methods. MechaWare also allows for gantry control to be performed quickly with the control block-set.
MechaWare works with SynqNet® XMP and ZMP type controllers for any applications that requires custom algorithm development. MechaWare enables complete control of the algorithm development without the need for custom firmware or programming interface modifications.
MechaWare takes advantage of the XMP and ZMP advanced built-in hardware capabilities and gives the user a visual means of building appropriate control code. With 64-bit ZMP-SynqNet type controllers, double-precision math is possible due to the dedicated on-board PowerPC motion co processor.
